Rubicon

The assessment procedure and the management of projects awarded funding under the Rubicon programme has been delegated to the following four domains: Science (ENW), Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH/SGW), Applied and Engineering Sciences (AES/TTW) and Health Research and Development (ZonMw). The domains will each install an external, independent, and multidisciplinary assessment committee, consisting of representatives from academia with knowledge of the field at hand. Due to the limited number of applications submitted to the AES field, these proposals will be assessed in the Science domain. Within Science/AES, two assessment committees are installed (Bèta and Life science). Below is a list of people who have been on the evaluation committees of Rubicon.

Please note that not all committee members will have necessarily assessed every application, because of the NWO Code for Dealing with Personal Interests. The Code is applicable to all persons who are involved in the decision-making process. Not only personal interests must be prevented, but (the appearance of) partiality as well. For this reason, it can be decided upon that a committee member cannot assess an application, if a personal interest or (the appearance of) partiality is ascertained.

Jacob Kersjes de Jong werd geboren/gedoopt op 03 april 1788/05 februari 1815 te Ballum/Hollum als zoon van Kersje Hilbrands en Hilke Jacobs.
Hij trouwde op 23 november 1814 op de leeftijd van 26 jaar te Ameland met Janke Jansen Kat, geboren /gedoopt op Ameland op 21 juni 1793/05 februari 1815, oud 21 jaar, als dochter van Jan Cornelis Kat en Antje Sints. Het echtpaar kreeg een zoon (Kersen Jacobz.) op 03 januari 1816; een zoon (Jan Jacobz.) op 01 mei 1818, een dochter op 25 maart 1822 en een zoon Jacob Jacobz,) op 04 juni 1825, die ook gezagvoerder werd.⁰⁰³.
Janke overleed op 16 maart 1882 te Amsterdam, 88 jaar.
Jacob is overleden op 25 oktober 1857 te Buiksloot, 69 jaar

J.K.de Jong werd met vlagnummer 67 ingeschreven als effectief lid van het Amsterdams zeemanscollege "Zeemanshoop". Datum en voordrager zijn niet vermeld. Ten tijde van de inschrijving was zijn schip de "Anna & Louise". Hij bedankte in 1850⁰⁰². Op de Algemene Ledenvergadering van het college op 25 augustus 1824 werd J.K.de Jong, oud 36 jaar, wonende op de Bikkersgracht bij de 2de Dwarsstraat,
